A full range of weather stations or more complete wireless monitoring systems is available, powered by solar panel and an online platform, which can be installed in all climate zones and that can be used in different production sectors with different purposes – from agriculture, where they find their primary use, to research to hydrology, meteorology, flood alerts and many others.

iMETOS IMT stations are robust and reliable, suitable for any need in your field.
They transmit real-time weather data (air temperature, relative humidity, rain gauge, leaf wetness, wind speed and direction, solar radiation, etc.) via GSM/GPRS without the need for any infrastructure on site.
They can also send SMS alerts (set by the user via the Internet) to alert you in case of frosts, heavy rain, high temperature and more.

Data is regularly uploaded to the FieldClimate platform where it can be accessed from anywhere, anytime in real time. In addition to access to historical data and daily evapottraspiration values, you can also take advantage of decision support solutions such as localized weather forecasts, phytopathological models and irrigation management.

Agrometereological monitoring for colture crop defense optimization

A plant disease model is a mathematical description of the interactions between the environment, the host plant, and pathogen-related variables that can lead to disease development.
Pathogen development depends on temperature, humidity, leaf wetness, and rainfall.
These parameters, measured by agrometeorological stations, are the input for forecasting models.
The most advanced models are those that allow to predict the incidence or severity of the pathology and also the development of the inoculation.

The models used have been developed to provide the farm with the best information available for an informed decision-making process, which allows the best use of defence weapons that allow quality and quantity production to be obtained. Most of our models have been born out of international scientific collaborations with the direct involvement of several research institutes and universities around the world over the past 30 years. Their use by farmers over many years in different climates, environments, and continents has
confirmed their validity over time.

To give a practical example, information management in vineyards is essential to improve the decision-making process that leads to the production of high-quality grapes, a starting point for the production of excellent wines

Models:

Virtual weather station: an ideal, economical solution for those who want to familiarize themselves with smart agriculture but
don’t want to purchase a real weather station (cooperatives, farmers, and farmers’ associations), or for those who need or want to offer their clients/public weather data or plant disease models.

iMETOS ® IMT80 includes sensors for air temperature and relative humidity and a rain gauge

iMETOS ® IMT180 includes sensors for Air Temperature and Relative Humidity and a Rain Gauge

iMETOS ® IMT200 includes sensors for Air Temperature and Relative Humidity. and Leaf Bathing and a Rain meter.

The iMETOS® IMT300 includes all the sensors you need for evapotranspiration and plant disease modeling: air temperature and relative humidity, rain gauge, global radiation, wind speed, and leaf wetness. Want more sensors? Up to 400 additional sensors can be added to the extensive range supported.

For these equipment, it is possible to benefit from the tax credit for investments in capital goods “industry 4.0” / “agriculture 4.0”

Irrigation management allows you to achieve water and energy savings of 20 to 70% and qualitative and quantitative control of production.
The same data are the basis of environmental certifications and for the control of the quality and quantity of production. They are also increasingly being used for marketing purposes to communicate the low environmental impact of conscious agriculture’s crops.

To this end, iMetos by Pessl Instruments provides a wide range of sensors for measuring soil moisture: prophylactic probes and fork sensors for measuring volumetric water content (VWC), tensiometric sensors for measuring soil water potential (tension or suction).

The ability to choose different technologies and different sensors and, if you want, to combine them, allows you to configure the best solution of monitoring soil moisture according to the characteristics of the crops, the soil itself, the type of irrigation system and the type of processing and arrangement of the soil. Specific solutions are available for potted plants and soilless applications.
Some of these sensors can measure soil temperature and electrical conductivity (EC) of soil volume or volumetric ion content (VIC), which is particularly useful in fertigation management.

The customer has access to real-time data through a dedicated web portal and a Smartphone App

Advantages

• WATER SAVING (reduction and better modulation of irrigation interventions)

• BETTER HARVEST (safeguarding the quantity of production and better quality)

• FERTILIZER SAVINGS (reduction of the nutrient leaching effect, optimization of the use of fertilizer with fertigation)

• PLANT HEALTH (reduction of the impact of phytopathological adversities, possibility of stimulating the development of the root system, protection from frosts)

• SAFETY (real-time alert in case of critical events such as deficit stress or excess water, alert in case of irrigation system failures and possible automatic problem solving, complete traceability of operations)

• ENERGY SAVING (electricity consumption to activate pumps, valves, etc.)

• TIME SAVING (automation and rationalization of business operations)

For these equipment, it is possible to benefit from the tax credit for investments in capital goods “industry 4.0” / “agriculture 4.0”
