It is a recovery system of the supernatant (oil, diesel oil etc.) inside wells and piezometers, consisting of a pneumatically operated pump and a selective filter equipped with a float that allows the entry of the product only (LNAPL).
It is the ideal tool for use in environmental remediation (spills, tanks, service stations, condominiums etc.). The skimmer separates the oil from the water, following the interface thanks to the floating property. The product is then recovered by gravity in the tank at the base, then sent to the surface through cycles of compressed air.
The recovery will be closely related to the viscosity and thickness of the supernatant, which in the best conditions will be visibly reduced.
The control and adjustment of the cycles can take place via an electrical or pneumatic panel.
