The Grundfos SQ/SQE is an extremely versatile and high-performance 3″ pump model. It is suitable for both continuous and intermittent operation, in a wide variety of applications:
- domestic water supply
- small aqueducts
- irrigation
- Tanks
- Increased pressure
They have the following characteristics:
- protection against dry running
- high pump and motor efficiency
- wear resistance
- protection against axial thrust
- soft starter
- Overvoltage and undervoltage protection
- Protection against overload and overheating
The motors, with permanent magnets, are equipped with a built-in electronic unit containing a frequency converter that has a soft start.
It is available in 4 different versions: SQ, SQ-N, SQE, SQE-N.
The SQ model operates at a constant speed, the SQE model has the possibility to modulate the speed via the CU301 and CU300 units.
By combining it with the special module with manual regulator, designed exclusively by the HCC Group, the SQE becomes an excellent and practical tool for performing pumping tests for the determination of the characteristics of the aquifer. The module is in fact already prepared for flow control and is already equipped with all the necessary connections.
The SQ/SQE are designed for pumping fluid, clean, non-aggressive and non-explosive liquids, not containing solid particles or fibers (max sand content 50 gr/mc)
